SUMMIT EVOLUTION Support

Dialog Boxes do not completely display.
The Tahoma font is used in most of Summit Evolution's dialog boxes. If you do not have this font, a substitute may be used by the system and the boxes don't display in total or correctly. Another cause may be large fonts instead of small fonts (changed in Display Properties), or you may need to upgrade Internet Explorer (5.5 or higher).

3D mouse will not connect.
If the DAT/EM Keypad is connected using a 9-pin serial cable, and is not a USB connection, conflicts with other 9-pin serial devices may occur. The DAT/EM Keypad defaults to COM1 when using standard serial. The Keypad program is automatically loaded. Until the keypad application is exited or reconfigured to another com port, COM1 can block the 3D mouse from communicating with the software if COM1 is selected for the 3D mouse also.

Data Source Tags.
When applying source tags in Summit, bitmaps are limited to 1024 pixels. Colors should not be indexed, but be RGB.

Summit view is zoomed much too far in upon opening model.
The project probably has no control or Relative Orientation. Create a small, one point “control file” and include this with the project.
