Polytel Keypads
Some clients may still be using keypad hardware built by the Polytel company before it closed. Those requiring additional support and information about reconfiguring, testing, or other issues related to this hardware may refer to the Polytel Keypad document. Unfortunately, Dat/em cannot replace or repair any Polytel hardware. If hardware failure occurs, please inquire about the Dat/em Keypad as your replacement.
Stereographics Zscreen tips
- The Zscreen 2000 model includes a separate controller box with two switches. One switch controls the power, the other controls the phase. Zscreen 2000i models have this unit built into the screen itself, and are slightly more expensive than the 2000 model.
- If the Zscreen emitter (controller) box is set to “Other”, the ortho/pseudo mode will be off every time Summit Evolution opens, and will not stay set. The emitter box must be set to “CE”.
- The light is normally green on the emitter box. However, nVidia graphics card drivers may only activate the green light when a window is open requiring OpenGL stereo viewing. This means that if Summit Evolution is closed, the light may be orange when using nVidia graphics cards.
- The passive glasses provided with Zscreens are circular polarized. Just in case anyone cares.
