SUMMIT EVOLUTION Support
Dialog Boxes do not completely display.
The Tahoma font is used in most of Summit Evolution's dialog boxes. If you do not have this font, a substitute may be used by the system and the boxes don't display in total or correctly. Another cause may be large fonts instead of small fonts (changed in Display Properties), or you may need to upgrade Internet Explorer (5.5 or higher).
DAT/EM Capture - Super/Imposition
Analog system gets divide by zero error when Super /Imposition is loaded. When running Super/ Imposition on an analog stereoplotter, make sure an Absolute Orientation has been performed before using Super/ Imposition 's Autocalibrate. A divide by zero error will occur if there is no valid orientation.
Capture Plotter Client
Orientation software locks up and stereoplotter communication is lost.
The analytical stereoplotter client should be exited before orientation software is run if the orientation package is on the same PC as Capture. This is because the same serial connection is used to communicate to both the plotter client and the orientation software, and only one may access the port at a time. Unpredictable results/and or crashes may occur. Simply click the X in the upper right corner of the plotter client window or exit the orientation software. To start the plotter client alone, use the Start->Programs->Datem Software method. Orientation software may be restarted by clicking on the appropriate icon, or through Start->Programs.
Real-time coordinates may fail to display in some analytical plotter clients.
Capture versions older than 1.6. If the plotter client registers all zeroes, and there is a valid orientation existing, delete the AP32SET.CFG file in the ...\Program Files\Datem Software folder and restart the application. A new copy of this file will be generated as needed. Later versions of Capture plotter clients do not use this file.

or
The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more details.
One of these messages may appear when applying a lock reset executable program. A system file required for the application to run is not on the computer. To fix the problem, install MicroSoft Updates. A compilation of these systems files for 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems is provided in a self-extracting executable for your convenience. Download the self-extracting executable and install the necessary files.
