In order to download an upgrade to your DAT/EM software, you must have:

Software support privileges.

An updated installation key (generated to match hardware lock, product, and update version).

Windows® 2000 or Windows XP operating system.

Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher (browsers used while installing from the web must support ActiveX or plug-in technology).

Any AutoCAD 2002 series through 2006, MicroStation V8 Ver. 08.05.00.64 or above including 2004 Edition, ArcGIS 9.0 - 9.2

A selectable ActiveX button (InstallFromTheWeb Client). If there is no selectable button, click the link at the top of the window to load InstallFromTheWeb. The link is located in a pale yellow bar area, as shown below.
After clicking on the yellow bar you will see the following installation dialog before InstallFromTheWeb proceeds.

Clicking the Install button will download only those components of Setup that are needed for the specific software you are installing.
There are three options for downloading the software: (1) Install only; (2) Install and Save Installation Files; and (3) Save Installation Files Only. DAT/EM recommends selecting the third option, “Save Installation Files Only”. Then you’ll have a backup copy that won’t be compromised with any installation interruption that can be used again if needed.
There are no digital manuals or extras downloaded. For video driver versions, digital documentation, or any other utilities, please contact DAT/EM. A complete CD can be provided, or supporting files can be emailed to you.
After successfully installing InstallFromTheWeb Client, the button will be activated, and will look like this:
