Latitude : 69° 18' 228.5"N
Longitude : 021°15' 53.3" W
Location: Lapland, Finland, Europe

The Haltitunturi mountain is the highest point in Finland, at 1328 m above sea level. It is located in the municipality of Enontekiö in the province of Lapland.

The name derives from "haltia" and "tunturi" haltia meaning spirit or "holder" and tunturi being the generic Sami term for a hill or mountain.

The terrain is made up of large rocks with no earth visible. The nearest road is about 35 km away, so the trek to the summit and back usually takes a few days. There are quite many huts on the way and helicopter and seaplane transport are available.
